Florida Judge Rules Health Care Reform Unconstitutional

Correct - health insurance should be illegal to sell. It adds nothing to health care except driving up the cost for everyone. We should either trust in the Free Market and force hospitals to charge only what people can afford (supply and demand) out of their own pockets or go to a National Health Service and Nationaliz­e all hospitals and clinics and draft anyone who wants to practice medicine into a quasi-mili­tary service.

Al Jazeera English Blacked Out Across Most Of U.S.

Just one of the reasons I've unplugged cable except for the local package (antennas are banned here) and rely on the internet for my news. You get much better reporting from Al Jeezera, BBC, Pravda, etc., on US events than you get from the United States of Corporatio­ns media.

Mocking God

One of the roots of America's problems is that we have elected to power a political party, a significant number of whom, believe that if they make things bad enough, if they destroy enough, it will force God's hand and Jesus will return to rapture them before they have to face the consequences of their policies. In other words, they believe God can be mocked. (Gal 6:7)

Trickle Down

Hoover got us into the Great Depression with his version of the "trickle down" theory. We got out of it by raising taxes on the wealthy. Money flows up, not down. When the poor & lower middle class have money, they spend almost all of it, thereby creating businesses and jobs up the line. Tax cuts to the rich bypass the rest of the economy.
