Florida Loses $2.4 Billion For High-Speed Trains

Republicans don't want jobs. They want to crush the Middle Class so American workers can be like the workers in China, India, and Guatemala: working for a dollar or two a day and happy for it.

Jury Out On Religion and the Death Penalty

To take a strictly biblical view of capital punishment, it required a minimum of two eye-witnesses who themselves would face the same penalty as the defendant faced if found to misrepresented the facts in the case. Do Christians and Muslims Worship the Same God?

Muslims tend to do better at helping the poor and vulnerable while Christians excel at conquering and subjection (historically, Muslims tended to treat conquered people very well).

As to whether both worship the same God: In a broad sense, of course they do; they both worship the God of Abraham. The Qur'an even sounds like the Old Testament prophetic books. As one narrows in focus, both religions have filtered their perception of God first through their Founder's cultures and down through history through various cultures as the religions spread. But then, if one focuses too narrowly, every believer recreates God in his/her own image: I've seen Baptists who claim that if you don't believe in a pre-tribulation "rapture," you're not worshiping the same God, they are, even if you claim to be Christian.

Hillary Clinton's Al Jazeera Comments Draw Attention Of U.S. Media

It's not just Al Jazeera, one gets better coverage of the US from al Jazeera, BBC, Pravda, and any number of foreign press sites than one gets from the US news. The difference is the foreign press reports while the US media sells their agenda; especially Fox, but to a lessor extent, all the other US "news" as well.
