2 Thessalonians 3:10

For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: "The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat."

Paul said this because many in the church believed Jesus's return was eminent and had stopped working, depending on others to support them.

Paul did not write this to say to not feed those who are poor through no fault of their own who are willing to work in an economy where few jobs are available.

The Bible tells us that in the presence of two or three witnesses things are established, to build a doctrine on one verse that appears to contradict thousands of other verses is also in error.

America Holds God in Contempt According to the Bible, Expects His Blessings

Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God. - Proverbs 14:31

The Kingdom of Antichrist

In the Old Testament, we gave God 10% of what is ours. In the New Testament, we have been "purchased with a price." Therefore, we, and all in our possession belong to God. We are merely stewards of God's property.

And everything in our possession was put there to advance the Kingdom of God by feeding the poor, healing the sick, etc. (Matt 25]. We are not American Citizens first, we are citizens of a Kingdom and serve as "Ambassadors" to the earthly kingdom we were born to. The response to taxes is, "Who's name is on the Dollar, give to the United States of America what belongs to the United States of America and give to God what belongs to God.

Capitalism, at least as it is currently practiced is the opposite of everything the Bible teaches. We have gone so far away from Christ's teaching in this country that we put money above human life.

We are a nation that serves Mammon dressed in a "White Jesus" Halloween costume and give our children to the NRA to be sacrificed to Moloch so gun manufacturers can earn more money. Indeed, we are a Kingdom of Antichrist by claiming to be Christian while doing the opposite of his teachings.
